Tis The Season

It's that time of year, where you pull out your tree and all your decorations to trim the tree with you children, and start making your checkbook and credit cards weep to you with every transaction you make.
So far, this year I've managed to scrape enough funds together to give my children a lil bit of a Christmas this year. It may not be what they might have wanted, but it all is surely what they need. I also want to remind my kids that this season isn't always just about recieving gifts, but it is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
It's hard through the holidays for my family as well as others because there are loved ones that we wish could be here with us to celebrate this time of year. I, often catch myself sometimes trying to pick up the phone to call, and as I go to dial, I realize that they wouldn't pick up even if I wanted them too. Sadly, they are no longer here with us in body, but I know deep down in my heart they are here in spirit. And I know the good lord and my family up above are looking down on me, protecting me, and guiding me in all the right directions. Somedays, I often wonder, because I am tested day in and day out. The lord above must have thought I was strong, stronger than I get myself credit for. Somedays, it's amazing to know I made it through, and by morning have woken up to start all over again. I know he tests me, because he knows I can handle anything that comes my way.
So I want to take this opportunity to tell my loved ones that I love them all very, very much, those that have passed on, and to those still living. Without my folks, my extended family and friends, and my kids, I don't know where I'd be to be truthfully honest. So thank you for loving me unconditionally, and always believing in me.
I hope each of you have a very Merry Christmas, and a Prosperous New Year! May 2012, be kinder to us all.
Love, Tammy and Kids
